Prof. Dr. Shoukry Shaker Faleh, Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department, and a group of teaching professors, staff and students, participated in a solidarity vigil to denounce the brutal enemy on Lebanon.
The director of the department, Dr. Shoukry Shaker, stated that we stand side by side with our brothers in Lebanon against the brutal aggression to which their people are subjected by the Israeli occupation. What is happening in Lebanon is not just an attack on land, but a violation of human rights and dignity and a targeting of the right of peoples to live in peace and security.
Our solidarity today is an expression of our unity as an Arab and Islamic nation, and as a humane society that stands against injustice and aggression wherever it is. We affirm that we will not be silent in the face of the crimes committed against innocent civilians, and we will not accept that siege and destruction will be imposed on the people of Lebanon. The Lebanese people, in their honourable history of resistance and steadfastness, deserve all support and support from us, whether at the humanitarian, political or media levels. We must raise our voices everywhere and stand with glory and dignity with this people, which has always been a symbol. For steadfastness and courage in the face of challenges.
