The Center for Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up, within the framework of the cooperation mechanism signed between the University of Basra (UoB) and the Basra Gas Company (BGC), announces the availability of a number of job opportunities for the first graduates of our dear university to join the Basra Gas Company within the company’s graduate employment program for the year 2023.
 The upcoming interviews will target the beginning of the first round of morning study for the current academic year 2022-2023, within the following specializations:

 Application mechanism:
   The process begins with taking the English language tests, where the following days have been determined for the test:
 College of Arts - English Language, on Tuesday, September 26th.
 Faculty of Arts - Translation, Thursday, September 28th.
   Until the test date approaches, applicants will need to prepare an English CV, a paper copy of which will need to be submitted upon arrival at the English language test date.
   The English language tests will take place at the university headquarters located in the Al-Ashar area (on the Basra Corniche), where the graduate will be required to come before eight o’clock in the morning on the date specified above, accompanied by an original official document to prove identity, and one of the following identification documents exclusively: As for the card  Uniform, identity card with citizenship certificate, or passport (which is preferred).
   The names of those who have obtained an acceptable level of English will be announced publicly through the official media channels of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Center in preparation for the initial testing and interview stages at the company’s headquarters.
   Those who have passed the English language tests are then summoned to attend interviews at the Basra Gas Company site in Khor Al-Zubair, where the process is conducted by specialized committees and exclusively in the English language.

 Important note:
 If the graduate is able to successfully pass the testing stages and obtain a job offer for the Basra Gas Company, he/she will have to completely terminate any other job obligations, as Basra Gas Company employees will not be allowed, in accordance with the company’s human resources policy, to work for any other organization, whether in  Public or private sector.
